(ROSEMONT, Illinois)- James A. Brucato and Mark E. Augustyn, owners of Principle Construction Corp., are pleased to announce that their firm has been selected to construct a 75,363 square foot expansion for Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc., a family owned and operated organization that makes automotive, off-road, industrial and racing powertrain products. The building is located at 4249 Raymond Drive in Hillside, IL 60162 and is scheduled for completion in May of 2015.

The new facility will accommodate office and warehouse areas and includes new water main, sewer and storm sewer construction, as well as light duty asphalt pavement for 55 parking spaces. The 28’ clear building will feature 10-inch thick insulated load bearing precast concrete wall panels, six overhead dock doors, one overhead drive-in door and six 30,000-pound mechanical dock levelers and dock seals at all dock positions.

“The key to success on this project was for us to figure out the most effective way to deal with the issues that existed as a result of a 6’ grade differential between the existing building and the new building.” James Brucato of Principle Construction stated. “That coupled with bedrock at a high elevation posed a great deal of engineering and design challenges for this project. Principle guided a great team of designers and worked very closely with Dynamic to develop creative and cost effective solutions for; grading, foundations, precast, sewers and site drainage. Ultimately we came up with a design that managed their budget responsibly while giving Dynamic everything they needed in their new facility.”

Principle’s Paul Cohen is the project manager and Jim Brucato is the principal in charge of the project. Harris Architects, Inc., is the architect for the warehouse expansion, and Jacob & Hefner Associates is the project engineer. CBRE’s Jason Lev and John Suerth represented Dynamic Manufacturing on the expansion.
