In addition to our traditional student-interns, we’re pleased to welcome back Tom Leathem. Tom is an Associate Professor of Building Construction Science at Mississippi State University. Tom worked as a Project Manager at Principle from 2007 to 2010 and currently helping out as a Site Superintendent, keeping his skills sharp as he visits family for the summer.

Tom teaches Building Construction Studio 3 and 4 and High Performance Construction at Mississippi State. Working with Tom helps us know what construction students are learning while he learns what the newest trends in construction are today.

In addition to his teaching work, Tom is involved in the community including Habitat for Humanity, the Auburn University Student Government, and Art Space, an adaptive reuse project for a blighted elementary school in New Orleans.

We wish all of our interns all the best in the remainder of their time at Principle and beyond!
