Four summer interns have joined the Principle Construction team this season to help us manage the summer rush. We’re proud to report each of them are learning a lot and integrating well in to our team at the office. The first new addition to our team is Allison Brucato. Allison is 17 and lives Libertyville. She is preparing for her senior year at Libertyville High School.
Allison is planning on majoring in business at college and also including some kind of medical education in her training as well. She reports that she’s learned a lot about “being organized and keeping records of all aspects of a job,” while working at Principle she now knows that these skills makes the project run much smoother and reduces stress for everyone.
“File folders and labeled binders make information easily accessible and everyone in the office knows exactly where to find paperwork related to the job,” Allison says.
She says she’s also acquired good client service and phone skills on the job as well as becoming a master at paper shredding!! She loves getting to know everyone in the office and learning specifically what everyone does to finish a project. She’s also a fan of going to lunch at Panera.
When Allison isn’t working at Principle, she’s a lifeguard at the Ivanhoe Country Club. She also likes spending time at the family lake house, where she is an avid water skier, tuber and wake boarder.
